ADOPTED!-Barbosa

If you are interested in Barbosa, please fill out the online application. My name is Josh Clemmer. I have a 1 year and 4 month old dachshund male, Barbosa. I've had him since he was a puppy and he is a sweet boy! I'm getting married this month and since I have moved in with my other dog it's been too much. He is a barker on walks (yay dauchshounds!), and in our smaller place it's not working out. I did attend classes at Petsmart for 8 weeks to work on his barking behavior and for socializing but it gave little results. So I've had to come to the decision on what to do and I won't let a rescue or shelter kill him. So I'm emailing you to get assistance in helping me find him a new home. Some info on him: He is a Dapple Grey spots over black coat He has darker, tan feet and eye brows. Short hair Weights around 18-20 lbs. His shots are current He is not neutered. He is very sweet and lovey but is nervous around new people. He has never bitten anyone He is not food aggressive at all. Completely crate trained (He loves it) He has lived with my basenji mix and my mother-in-laws dachshund (his sister) for most of his life. They play all the time. We have two young children in the house, ages 5 and 7. They play and pet the dogs all the time without issues. I've attached two photos for you. I need to find a foster home or new home for him very soon and am curious about my options. I live in Golden, Co

ADOPTED!!!

Oliver was adopted out thru a local shelter, and returned because he was untrainable.  And at some point someone gave him a bad haircut!  He is working on growing that mess out!  He is very much a puppy, and LOVES playing with the other Dachshunds at his foster home.  He is crate trained, and never has an accident in his crate.  He loves to snuggle and play.  This is a sweetheart, that is having bad hair days, everyday!   He would do best in a home with another Dachshund to play with.  He is looking for his special Colorado home.

This Colorado Sweetheart is a Colorado Dachshund Rescue friend. All of our dogs, are spay and neutered, up to date on vaccines and are heartworm negative and on preventative. Most also have a dental done. We rehome close to 100 Dachshunds each year, and save many of them from certain death at local shelters. By working with local shelters, we are able to give them a second chance to find their new forever homes.
