Blue is part of the 1st group of longhairs coming from a former breeder that could no longer care for them. He is very sweet, but shy. He loves being with his big brother Sam, so a home with another Dachshund for him to pal around with would be best.
This Colorado Sweetheart is a Colorado Dachshund Rescue friend. All of our dogs, are spay and neutered, up to date on vaccines and are heartworm negative and on preventative. Most also have a dental done. We rehome close to 100 Dachshunds each year, and save many of them from certain death at local shelters. By working with local shelters, we are able to give them a second chance to find their new forever homes.
