Madd Max–In Loving Memory

It is with heavy heart that I had to say Goodbye to my beloved Max, November 2009.  Max was one of the first Rescue kids to come into my life 14 years ago.  He taught me that no matter what, you better bark at the moon!  Max endured many surgeries over his years, including eye removal, IVDD, and leg amputation.  But his spririt never waivered!  Madd Max, had the heart, spirit and voice of a Great Dane, and he rocked our world!  We miss you Max, rest in Peace, little big man.

MissFrannie

Many of you had the opportunity to meet Miss Frannie at many of the CODR events. At age 15, she quickly became CODR’s Poster Princess. What a character!! Dumped at the shelter at the age of 14, she didn’t do well when her litter mate was euthanised at the shelter. No one came forward to adopt this sweet old girl, and sensing her time was short she was officially adopted after placing in the senior division of The Long Dog Derby, by her foster home!! She enjoyed her year in rescue sleeping on the pillows of her new Mom’s bed, and bossing around her furry siblings. She was full of life and spunk until her little old body said enough. She left this world in the arms of her Mom, just Dec 22, loved and cherished. Run at The Rainbow Bridge my friend.
