ADOPTED! Petey

Animal’s name:Petey Age (years):6 Weight (pounds):10 Spayed/Neutered:yes Sex:Male Coat:Smooth Color:Red Adoption fee:250.00 ADOPTION PENDING! Reason in Rescue:Stray, turned into local shelter, snapped at Vet during oral exam Petey went to see our regular vet, and imagine this, no snapping at the vet!  He let the good Doc look him over from nose to tail, where he was deemed healthy.  Petey came in as a stray so we know very little about him.  His housetraining skills are awesome, and he talks to tell you when he need to go out.  He would do well with another doxie.  He is a bit nervous being picked, we are assuming he might have been owned by a person that simply didn’t pick him up often.  He is a sweet little man, and ready to find his new Colorado home. This Colorado Sweetheart is a Colorado Dachshund Rescue friend. All of our dogs, are spay and neutered, up to date on vaccines and are heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped. Most also have a dental done. We rehome close to 100 Dachshunds each year, and save many of them from certain death at local shelters. By working with local shelters, we are able to give them a second chance to find their new forever homes. Animal’s name: Oscar  Picture Dec 09 172
Age (years): 3
Weight (pounds): 16
Spayed/Neutered: yes
Sex: male
Coat:Longhair
Color:Red
Adoption fee: $50

Oscar was a stud dog, that the local family didn’t want, so he was about to go to the shelter, when a former adopter stepped in and took him home.  Of course the breeder family kept the pregnant female, so they could make money selling her puppies.   Oscar has since been adopted by his new family and promptly got a new name.  Have a great life Ollie!
