Snoopy came into a local shelter as a stray, he was adopted out and returned to the shelter because he didn’t bond with the woman. Snoopy has never been socialized with people, or he had a very tramatic experience. He does well with other doxies, and prefer doxies over people. Snoopy is petrified of people, he gets very wide eyed and starts to tremble. He does better with men than women tho. He is probably going to be a sancutary sweetheart, but wanted to get him posted to see if a special home could be found for him. He would do best in a home with several other doxies, and no children. This Colorado Sweetheart is a Colorado Dachshund Rescue friend. All of our dogs, are spay and neutered, up to date on vaccines and are heartworm negative and on preventative. Most also have a dental done. We rehome close to 100 Dachshunds each year, and save many of them from certain death at local shelters. By working with local shelters, we are able to give them a second chance to find their new forever homes.
