ADOPTED!-CoCo

Animal’s name: CoCo Age (years): 15 Weight (pounds): 14 Spayed/Neutered: yes Sex: female Coat: smooth Color: red Adoption fee: $50 CoCo was turned into a local shelter, because her owner passed away.  CoCo was scheduled to euthanized due to her age, so CODR stepped in to save her.  She was adopted out to a nice family, and she was returned a few months later, because the youngest child developed sever allergies and had to hospitialized.  She is a sweet ole gal that would love nothing more than to have a real home for her self.  She gets along great with other doxies and cats.  She does have some food allergies, but is eating duck and sweet potato and doing just fine on that food.  If you have it in your heart to let Coco spend the rest of her days in your home, she will love you forever. This Colorado Sweetheart is a Colorado Dachshund Rescue friend. All of our dogs, are spay and neutered, up to date on vaccines and are heartworm negative and on preventative. Most also have a dental done. We rehome close to 100 Dachshunds each year, and save many of them from certain death at local shelters. By working with local shelters, we are able to give them a second chance to find their new forever homes. Animal’s name:Baton Baton
Age (years): 3
Weight (pounds): 16
Spayed/Neutered: yes
Sex: male
Coat: smooth
Color: bl and tan
Adoption fee: $50

Baton came into rescue because his owner took him to the vet to be euthanized for biting his children.   Baton was very scared and slow to warm up, and he does have some triggers that sets him off into a biting frenzy.  Those triggers are black jeans, boots, people yelling.  He does great with other dogs,  and is loving otherwise.  He needs a very special dog savy home.  Baton will probably be one of our first sanctuary dogs, but thought we would get him posted and see if his special home came along.  Contact us for detailed info on the little one
