Taffy-ADOPTED!!

Animal’s name: Taffy -ADOPTED!! Age (years): 14 Weight (pounds): 25 Spayed/Neutered: yes Sex: female Coat: smooth Color: red Adoption fee: $50 Taffy ended up a stray at a local shelter twice, and twice the previous owner was contacted, the first time they bailed her out the second time they did not.  Taffy lived with her person the first 13 years of her life, when she couldn’t take care of Taffy anymore she gave her to her daughter.  Taffy kept escaping the daughters house.  Because of Taffy’s age she was scheduled to be euthanized at the shelter.  CODR was contacted on Taffy, the doxie mix, when we arrived at the shelter, Taffy was found to be a mix, but no doxie in her.  We took her anyway to spare her life.  She is a SWEET little dog, and would make someone an awesome companion.  Please give this ole girl a home for the rest of her days.  You won’t be disappointed! This Colorado Sweetheart is a Colorado Dachshund Rescue friend. All of our dogs, are spay and neutered, up to date on vaccines and are heartworm negative and on preventative. Most also have a dental done. We rehome close to 100 Dachshunds each year, and save many of them from certain death at local shelters. By working with local shelters, we are able to give them a second chance to find their new forever homes. Rudi has been adopted!
Animal’s name: Rudi
Age (years): 2
Weight (pounds): 12
Spayed/Neutered: yes
Sex: male
Coat: red
Color: smooth
Adoption fee: $150

Rudi was a stray that ended up in a Kansas shelter, due to overcrowding he was on deaths door.  He didn’t do well in the shelter and was very scared!  A volunteer at the shelter befriended him, and he relaxed and his true self shined! If this wonderful woman hadn’t taken the time for one little dog, he would be dead now at the shelter. She took him to the vet, and he has been neutered, chipped, vaccinated and is heartworm negative. He is a happy sweet young man that does well with other dogs.
