We are in the process of shutting down the Dachshund Shelter in Fort Collins. We are unable to take in any Dachshunds at this time. If you must go to a shelter, make the effort to give your friend a fighting chance to survive the shelter in this economy. Go to Denver Dumb Friend’s Leauge, Buddy Center in Castle Rock or Pike’s Peak Humane Society.
You could also try Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue at www.c2cdr.org or Heart United for Animals at www.HUA.org.
We are also more than happy to ‘advertise’ your Dachshund on our webpage for you. Send us a bio and picture, and we will assist you in rehoming your Dachshund into a quality home. You can also post your Dachshund on this webpage, www.drwp.net
